A Sharing & Caring event to benefit local high school students with scholarship funds to further their professional studies for today’s workforce.
Join us for the inaugural E.A.T. (Engage and Taste) at Brightwater.
For the past 5 years, Sharing & Caring has been providing scholarships to Benton County high school students in the fields of culinary, medical, trades, videography and photography. Students are able to earn college credit, obtain licensing and/or secure employment upon graduation. All proceeds from this event will go towards scholarships for students.
EAT is a cooking competition similar to Food Network’s Chopped. High school students currently in the culinary program will compete against each other making either a savory appetizer, pizza or dessert – all using the key ingredient of “dairy”. We are so excited to have Tillamook be the presenting sponsor this year and be able to highlight their brands and products.
It will be a fun and relaxing evening watching the students prepare their dishes, watching live demos by local award winning chefs, and concluding the evening with a panel of judges that will decide the best dish in each category!
